Project Overview
When a brand outgrows its look, rebranding becomes essential. This process isn’t just about changing visuals; it's about growth and innovation. A fresh look attracts new customers and signals a commitment to staying current and relevant. Rebranding is a strategic move that can revitalise a brand's identity and position it for future success. Snowflake asked, and I delivered.
Relationship and initial situation
Snowflake is a digital agency specialising in web applications with over 23 years of experience. To be in business for such a long time requires to appear as an established, well-known and trustworthy agency, while at the same time always being on the cutting edge of technology, modern and attractive. Snowflake has seen a lot of new corporate designs over the years, and I had the privilege of creating and working on the latest one.
An unique vision
First goal
Apr 2014 - Mar 2015
The vision was to transform the agency’s image into a more vibrant and dynamic entity. We aimed to infuse the Snowflake brand with greater boldness and character, moving away from the overly serious and dull color schemes and typography. An interesting request from the stakeholders was to create a diverse color palette, featuring interchangeable primary colors that could be used creatively rather than relying on a single color consistently. To meet this requirement, we developed a primary palette consisting of six main colors, complemented by some neutral tones. After thorough research, we opted for two distinct fonts for Snowflake. We selected the classic, rounded, highly legible Sofia Pro Font in Light for body text – suitable for both print and web – and Medium for impactful and boldheadlines. Additionally, we embraced the delicate, elegant, and sophisticated PT Serif to emphasise keywords.
Fresh and colourful
brand assets
Second goal
Apr 2014 - Mar 2015
After finalising the fundamental corporate decisions like fonts and colours, we proceeded to craft distinctive visual elements for enhancing each asset in a unique way. To do so, we combined two guiding principles of this rebranding that stood out: DYNAMIC and COLOURFUL.

Driven by these core concepts, we crafted captivating and vibrant gradients to complement each asset. These gradients were illustrated using Adobe Illustrator for print materials and animated using CSS for all digital elements. Upon completing the corporate identity, we delivered the following assets:
  • Business cards
  • Corporate document templates
  • Social media templates
  • Videos
  • Portfolio
  • Website
The new corporate website
Third goal
Apr 2014 - Mar 2015
The agency's website serves as the primary touchpoint with our audience. It plays a central role in reflecting the new corporate identity, bringing together all the groundwork we laid out. Moreover, the website acts as the canvas for showcasing other forms of media we've created, including videos and images.

We planned out the schedule, our milestones and deadlines, and started working closely with our developers. We shared our ideas and feedback throughout the development process, playing a great game of brainstorming ping-pong until we achieved our goals. As a result, we are proud to have created a website that not only exceeds expectations frontend-wise, but we have also tidied up the CRM to make it as user-friendly as possible for Snowflake itself.
